Our leaders have worked long and hard to make this event a reality. They all volunteered there time to work together to ensure that this program would happen. Each member brings something different to the event and each has their own reasons for wanting to be a part of the I Am Girl team. The leaders hope that this event and subsequent events will motivate girls to be confident and strong and to want to continue the tradtion of volunteering in their community and bring about change.
They are also planning monthly events for the winter. A schedule will be available soon for you and your child - for now however, you can visit Sunset Community Centre's website for information.
